We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team in developing breakthrough “Big Ideas” and assist in our overall online and offline marketing efforts.

In this role, you will be an integral part of the development, planning and execution of marketing plans, working with our team of marketers to coordinate marketing campaigns (mostly online) for our financial information publishing division.

The ideal candidate will have general interest and knowledge of stock market, economic news and trends, while also being well-versed in marketing concepts, principles and tactics.
The primary objective is to deliver effective marketing programs and campaign plans that will help us grow our customer base.

This role is an ideal fit for a marketing professional with at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar marketing role with success in coordinating online and offline campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with publishers, copywriters and our creative team on new online and offline marketing campaigns;
  • Develop, execute and monitor multiple marketing campaigns;
  • Monitor costs and return on investment on each campaign;
  • Network within our industry to connect with copywriters, media-buying opportunities and other channels to promote our products;
  • Brainstorm with our team to develop breakthrough “Big Ideas” for online and offline campaigns
  • Perform competitive intelligence;
  • Make recommendations to help keep us competitive in the marketplace.

Skills Profile:

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in marketing and/or advertising
  • Knowledge of financial markets; the economy and stocks
  • Leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to think creatively and critically
